Intro to Robotics: Simple Machines and More

Tuesdays 5-6:30pm  (runs in 8 week sessions) $95

Builders will be introduced to engineering concepts that establish the building blocks of designing, building and programming.  These are the stepping stones required to understand just how LEGO robotics work.  Following a theme, our builders will be able to successfully learn how to build, program, and make their projects move AND make sounds by exploring the aforementioned concepts!

Grades 1-3, Minimum of 6 Participants

Sessions:

Tuesday: Nov 14-Jan 9 (no class on Dec 26), Jan 16-Mar 13 (no class on Jan 30), and Mar 20-May 15 (no class on Apr 3).

Robotics 101

Thursdays 5-6:30pm  (runs in 8 week sessions) $150

In Robotics 101, builders will further their knowledge of engineering concepts that aind in the design process of building and programming their robots. Prerequisite: Intro to Robotics or Instructor Approval

Ages 9+, Maximum of 6 Participants

Sessions:

Home School Classes

Wednesdays 9:30-11:30am (runs in 9 week sessions)

Builders will use simple machine sets and learn engineering concepts behind levers, gears, axles, pulleys and more! We will build catapults, spinning tops, beach chairs and much more! It won't stop there, we will use different building elements other than LEGO® to test out different engineering ideas or challenges given to the builders!

Weekly Enrichment

Builders will be engaged in a hands-on program that combines real-life skills that are designed to inspire creative thinking, teamwork, social skills and problem-solving for the 21st century with real kid FUN using LEGO® bricks & More! These weekly classes have been designed around LEGO® Education's 4C's principles of Connect, Construct, Contemplate, and Continue. Through guidance and teamwork each session builders will build new models and developing their creative and problem-solving skills.

Classes that are canceled due to inclement weather will not be made up.

RoboticsClub

Sundays 2:30-4:30pm  (runs in 8 week sessions) $150
